About this role
As an Electrical Test System Design Engineer, you will join the engineering team supporting projects with focusing on the development of innovative electrical test systems and test strategies.
You will play a key role in designing and developing new test scenarios and validation approaches for next-generation automotive products, including systems that have not previously been tested or validated. The role requires a strong engineering mindset, combining electrical engineering knowledge, systems thinking, and creative problem-solving to ensure robust and reliable testing solutions.
You will collaborate closely with systems engineers, product development teams, and test engineers to create effective testing strategies that support the development of advanced electrified vehicle systems and electrical architectures.

Design and develop electrical test systems and test scenarios for automotive products and subsystemsCreate innovative test strategies for new technologies and components that require new validation approachesDevelop test procedures, specifications, and documentation for electrical testing activitiesWork closely with systems, software, and hardware engineering teams to understand product functionality and define appropriate test coverageSupport the development and implementation of automated test environments and test rigsAnalyse test results and system behaviour, providing engineering insight and recommendationsContribute to continuous improvement of test methodologies and validation processesParticipate in technical discussions and design reviews, bringing innovative ideas to testing challenges Required Skills:
Strong background in electrical engineering, test engineering, or systems engineeringExperience designing or developing test systems, test procedures, or validation strategiesAbility to develop new test scenarios for complex or previously untested systemsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilityExcellent communication and technical discussion skillsAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teamsRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Desirable Skills:
Experience in automotive electrical systems or vehicle architectureKnowledge of battery systems or electric powertrain technologiesExperience working with automated test equipment, test rigs, or validation frameworksFamiliarity with data analysis and test reporting tools
