About this role
Perform a variety of administrative tasks supporting test area Group Leaders and the department. This includes but is not limited to ensuring test sample information entered into LIMS aligns with the correct test requirements prior to scheduling testing. Procure, maintain, and monitor inventory of materials, consumables, and equipment needed for testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateApplies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility Demonstrates and promotes the company vision Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration Regular attendance and punctuality Review, compare, and confirm entered sample requirements against established test parameters and specifications, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with department teams to resolve issues prior to scheduling Add acceptable test samples and information to test area scheduleProcure materials and consumables used in department Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery or qualityDevelop procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring issues or process gaps Communicates effectively with department teams Communicates effectively with client staff members Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year administrative experienceAbility to work in the US without immediate or potential future sponsorshipScience background preferred Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
