Experian Marketing Services is a global leader in providing data-driven marketing solutions, and manage large and comprehensive databases containing geographic, demographic, lifestyle and attitudinal information on the Australian population. Experian Marketing Services is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on selling Experian's leading segmentation and analytics solution. It helps these organizations better understand who their consumers are, how to better engage with them, and solve business critical objectives.
What you'll need to bring to the role and Experian
A desire to exceed targets and achieve business development goals.Ability to book 15 new business and 10 follow up meetings per month.Eagerness to enhance sales skills and stay updated on industry best practices.You will collaborate effectively with internal teams to tailor solutions and streamline the sales process.Demonstrated resilience in the face of challenges, rejections, and changing market dynamics.
Work that matters - What you'll be doing
Embrace and apply SPIN and STONGMAN sales methodologies to enhance your sales effectiveness.Contribute to weekly meetings with your team and Regional Sales Manager to discuss progress, share insights, and strategize for success.Independently manage your clients and become a Trusted Advisor and Subject Matter Expert.Manage own performance and lead self-development following personal and Our goals.Champion Experian values
More about you
This role would suit someone with 1-3 years' B2B sales experience and with some exposure to enterprise software sales would be a bonus.You are agile in every conversation and curious in your questioning to understand client challenges, requirements and opportunities.You have an interest in data and its applications to help businesses.
