About this role
The Senior Director Renewals Negotiations will be a core member of Experian North America's Renewals Team, responsible for leading negotiation strategy and direct engagement with client procurement teams across our largest and most strategic renewals. You will bring deep customer knowledge and commercial fluency to drive successful, high-impact renewal outcomes, partnering closely with Sales, Legal, Pricing, and other internal stakeholders to shape and execute renewal plans that protect and grow revenue. You will report to the SVP, Renewals.
Main responsibilities
Lead negotiator, empowered with and accountable for renewal negotiations outcomes on top client accountsDevelop negotiation strategies with sales teams, tailored to each customer context and outcomesBe a renewal strategy leader during deal planning, providing guidance on likely procurement asks, risk areas, and tradeoff frameworks; Develop scenario planning and response strategiesIn collaboration with Experian Sr Leadership, establish and deliver on enterprise goals and objectivesIdentify and deploy centralized win themes that anchor renewal positioningExert cross-functional influence with key stakeholders to accomplish Renewal team goalsWork with internal partners to pressure-test pricing, term options, and messaging before negotiations
What we are looking for
10+ years of experience managing negotiations, with/for procurement teams with large enterprise accounts and transactionsC-level client negotiation experience with an ability to successfully shape and lead complex renewal negotiationsExperience with deal structuring, tradeoff frameworks, and value articulationExperience implementing and managing innovative negotiation strategies and approachesCommercially savvy with the ability to adapt negotiation approaches to unique customer dynamicsHigh level of fluency in customer-specific product and bundle positioningExperience operating in high-stakes renewal environments where precision, preparation, and poise are criticalBachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
