Role Summary:
Lead the Oncology Business Unit for Malaysia, managing P&L, developing strategic direction for the oncology portfolio (marketed and pipeline brands), and ensuring business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio & Business Leadership
Develop and execute annual financial and strategic plans, as well as Long-Range Plans (LRP), to maximize portfolio performance.Oversee the product lifecycle, including new indications, formulations, and portfolio optimization.Collaborate with Market Access on reimbursement and pricing strategies, including tender management.Identify and pursue new growth opportunities via strategic partnerships.2. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and inspire the Brand Team in shaping brand strategy, optimizing positioning, and achieving targets.Drive sales and marketing alignment to deliver revenue, margin, and market share objectives.Foster a high-performance culture through talent identification, development, and succession planning.Enhance team competencies, including key account management and selling skills.3. Operational Excellence & Compliance
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Distributors to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory, and shipments.Monitor budgets and expenditures to align resources with commitments.Ensure adherence to corporate, legal, and ethical standards and country regulations. Bachelor’s degree (science or business preferred).Minimum 3-5 years of team leadership experience, ideally as a Business Unit Manager.Practical experience in oncology and in sales/marketing roles; strong business acumen.Proven ability to lead and coach teams, develop talent, and manage performance.Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
