About this role
The Senior Product Manager, Consumer Solutions is responsible and accountable for the management of selected Visa products and solutions, with key focus on tailoring product solutions to client’s needs, leading sales process and further implementation, as well managing day-to-day product maintenance ensuring Visa continues to hold its leadership position in driving the growth of core products and digital payments.
The role sits in Consumer Solutions team within Product Department for Central and Eastern Europe. The team work with Visa clients and operates cross functionally with other teams to deliver best in class value product constructs and portfolio optimization. The role requires proactive approach, strong sales, consultative client engagement and relationship building skills to understand client strategy, priorities and needs to deliver solutions that are typically complex, strategic and cross-functional in nature. You will combine your product and project management experience with strong awareness of trends in consumer payment preferences and technology usage, with the goal to develop payment experiences and solutions that increase customer engagement with the Visa product, drive usage and preference.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable success at working effectively across matrixed organizations, has the ability to define and articulate the market’s product requirements, develop and champion changes in order to align Visa client needs with those of the successful ongoing growth of the network. The role will engage closely with account executives, clients and various local and regional cross-functional teams, in order to influence adoption of the solutions on the market.
The candidate must possess a combination of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, execution discipline, agile project management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in dynamic environment.
The role is based in Warsaw and will require occasional travel abroad.
Day to day activities:
Owner of the selected Visa products, solutions and projects, with key focus on tailoring Visa product and solutions to client’s needs, leading sales process and further implementation, as well accountability for scorecard targetsIdentifying opportunities for value creation and sales of Visa products based on understanding of client’s challenges and goalsPartner with Account Executives to develop and execute account strategies, objectives and plans to increase revenue and market shareProvide inputs into country operational planning and account plansTrack competition activity and continually be focused on ensuring that Visa’s products and solutions deployed in the market meet all relevant consumer and merchant payment needsIdentify strategic opportunities for Visa capabilities through a strong understanding of various customer segment business needs, leveraging Visa solutions across multiple platformsWorking hand-in-hand with colleagues from other functional areasThought leadership with internal and external stakeholders including participation in industry events,Foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with the client and the Visa organizationLeading and contributing to win strategy for RFPsContribution to building the awareness of Visa innovative and new solutions approach among clients during dedicated cross-products meetingsThis is a hybrid position. Mid-level experience in product management, preferably in banking industryProven experience with product development, sale support, project management, card operations and ability to translate client needs into product solution requirementsStrong understanding of consumer debit and credit products as well broad digital payments industry knowledge or experienceHigh analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to flex and demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorStrong analytical and quantitative abilities, strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial analysisStrong team orientation, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross functionally in a matrixed organization and dynamic environmentDemonstrates energy and positive response when tackling challenging problems and views complicated tasks as engaging or motivating, and positive under pressureGood organizational skills and ability to manage complex projects with many internal and external stakeholdersExcellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbalGood presentation skillsFluent in written and spoken English Visa is an EEO Employer.
