About this role
The Manager of the Latin America and Caribbean Shared Services leads by example ensures the company sources quality and affordable products and services in a timely manner. As a key team member of the Sourcing Shared Services team you are responsible for supporting business partners through the procurement of goods and services for facilities human resources marketing technology and professional services. The Manager will have accountability to delivery against department and functional goals You will need a strong sense of urgency and the ability to succinctly frame issues and alternatives to drive decisions forward. Key Responsibilities includeLiaising with business units to determine their product and service needsPerforming all procurement activities including prequalification negotiating supplier agreements preparation of contracts and proposal managementReviewing existing contracts with suppliers and negotiate amendments as needed to remain compliant with corporate policiesLeading and mentoring a team delegating tasks and supervising the work of other Purchasing analysts within your categoryIdentifying areas for process improvement to continually drive performance and business resultsAbility to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demandingMust be self-directed have excellent initiative and organizational skillsExhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency drive and energyWorks well under stress with the ability to deliver on timeDevelops strong relationships with business stakeholders and supply partners to improve businessEnsure policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation are followed within the categoryCommunicates effectively and frequently listens carefully and actively seeks and values the perspectives of othersSupports the implementation of Global Sourcing policies and proceduresThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree eg Masters MBA JD MD or 0 years of work experience with a PhDPortuguese language fluencySpanish and English language fluency
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree eg Masters MBA JD MD or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhDBachelors Degree preferred Professional accreditation in sourcing or procurement a plus5-7 years of progressively responsible experience as a sourcing and/or procurement professional preferably with a major financial institution or payment card companyExtensive experience with contract negotiations and drafting such as Statements of Work Master Service Agreements SaaS and Software License AgreementsAbility to identify contractual risks rights and obligationsIndepth understanding of Procurement policies and procedures and their application to the processing of transactions, such as processing purchase requisitions, processing purchase orders, modifying purchase orders, executing bidding for transactions and executing RFPs as requiredMulti tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasksStrong relationship management skills and ability to communicate effectively and collaborate will all levels of managementExcellent analytical and problem solving skills where you leverage Power BI Excel Tableau toolsExceptional talent in negotiating and networkingProficiency in purchasing systems and organizational interfaces such as Ariba S2C and P2P Visa is an EEO Employer.
